Praesidium seeks to support gender balance and female empowerment, professionally and financially. Women, particularly working mothers are skilled with balance and focused concentration to manage a number of competing demands yet these skills are often treated as a ‘motherhood penalty’ rather than recognised as skill set. Employment opportunities to join the workforce with appropriate working conditions are limited to many women, especially mothers looking to rejoin the workforce- these impediments have the potential consequence of overlooking a huge talent pool.
Encouraging women in the workplace, leads to greater economic benefit to families. When women are earning their own income, they consistently invest up to 90% back into their families.
