Gender Balance- Promoting Opportunity

Taking the lead on gender balance in the workplace.

Praesidium seeks to support gender balance and female empowerment, professionally and financially. Women, particularly working mothers are skilled with balance and focused concentration to manage a number of competing demands yet these skills are often treated as a ‘motherhood penalty’ rather than recognised as skill set. Employment opportunities to join the workforce with appropriate working conditions are limited to many women, especially mothers looking to rejoin the workforce- these impediments have the potential consequence of overlooking a huge talent pool.

Encouraging women in the workplace, leads to greater economic benefit to families. When women are earning their own income, they consistently invest up to 90% back into their families.

……women are an untapped source of talent and productivity……. yet the prominence of women in the workforce remains disproportionate. Women continue to be underrepresented in the workforce.

Praesidium recognises the skills, values and differing perspectives that women and men can bring to the workforce and actively supports the development of human capital, regardless of gender, encouraging a better gender balance through a change in working environment and opportunity to reflect the changing personal and professional needs of both genders.
